“ With many food options at the Palladio center in Folsom, our friend recommended Petra Greek. At first, I balked at the choice since I don't like a lot of pungent spices on my foods, and on top of that I never had Greek food. Boy, was I glad I came here. This nice cozy eatery was half full at 12:30, but I heard the cashier greet customers on a first name basis, which is always a good sign seeing repeat customers. Facility was clean, spacious and well stocked of utensils and condiments. I had no clue what to order, and after voicing my displeasure of spicy foods, I literally ordered a burger. But OMG it was a burger that was out of this world. It looked like a 1/3 lb, hand formed beef/pork patty that was so juicy it seeped through the wax paper. Kosseri cheese was perfect and bun was like a Brioche bun. Fries were piled on the plate (but sold separately with a drink as a combo for$4.50)...well worth it. The wife had the gyro sampler plater that looked like a normal plate offering; literally had to take half home! I did take bites of each protein, and I must say I am now a fan of Greek food! All the proteins were flavorful and not overpowering of any of the array of spices. Our friend ordered the chicken kabob platter, and he couldn't finish his either (and he's a big eater)! He raved about the rice pilaf and the flavorful chicken. The cashier Ariana was courteous, helpful and professional from the time we ordered til the time we rolled out. What a great experience all around; they have two other locations in the Sacto area. Too bad nothing planned for Elk Grove; I will try the closer locations though! ”

“ Fantastic Greek Cuisine and Exceptional Service! Petra Greek in Folsom is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Greek dishes, and the flavors are absolutely on point. The gyro was perfectly seasoned, the pita was fresh and soft, and the tzatziki sauce was the ideal balance of creamy and tangy. Every dish felt like it was made with care and quality ingredients. The portions were generous, making it a great value. What really stood out was the service--friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. “ I love this popular Greek eatery located in the Palladio near theaters. Generous delicious portions made to order and served up quick by hospitable servers! I love the Chicken souvlaki pita but any dish has proven to be done well. Also love the tasty rice pilaf. Always plenty of tables inside or outside and kept clean. Bring an appetite for the large portions. Also love that they have Coke products ”

“ Petra Greek is the Mediterranean food to try! I had this combo salad & meat on numerous occasions and it never disappointed. This particular location is in Folsom Palladio center. I usually call in my order and by the time I get there it's ready to go. Inside vibe is quiet, workers are courteous and welcoming. The only downside as of late is price keeps climbing up and up. “ I had dinner here recently while in town visiting family. I had the Chicken Souvlaki Plate I had the Chicken Souvlaki Plate: Fresh cut chicken, skewered and seasoned with Greek spices, cooked over open flame, with french fries, Greek salad, tzatziki sauce and pita bread. The portions were huge and I could not eat it all. The chicken was really tasty, easy to cut. The salad and fries were super yummy too. The tzatziki was pretty garlicy but overall tasty. Pita was not too heavy. Overall a nice restaurant. Big portions, tasty food. ”

“ As a Greek who has always been immersed in my culture, food plays a large part in who I am. Typically, at restaurants like these who claim to have authentic Greek food, I am disappointed in what they offer. Not this time. The gyro meat here is done the correct way and is fresh and cooked properly. They also offer options of beefteki and loukaniko, both of which I normally struggle to find. My dad and I ordered a beef/lamb gyro combo (so it came with pilafi or fries and a drink) and the staff was so nice! They pronounced the meal correctly too, which made a big difference to me lol. The gyro had to be one of the most authentic I've had here in the States so far. I have a large appetite, and the gyro was perfect, even the kids meal my brothers got could have been more than enough for me! My mom and brother got the souvlaki plate, and although they each got their own, they agreed they could have shared one as it was plenty for 2 people. The pita was warm and fluffy, the tzatziki and hummus perfectly flavorful. The bathroom was really clean, as was the rest of the restaurant, staff consistently on top of it. The food came out within 5 minutes. THAT is how you run a business. And the dessertssssss- they smelled heavenly and looked flaky and soft. They have 2 kinds of baklava and even kataifi! If you are in the area and in the mood for some spot on Greek cuisine, this is the place to go! ”

“ I was having a mommy-daughter in-law day and we thought we'd stop in for lunch. This was the perfect spot! The staff was wonderful, very friendly and the gal that took our order was super helpful. The place is very clean which is so important and it's nice and quiet in the restaurant. What I mean by this is you can actually hear the people at your table, some places have the music up so loud you can't even think! The food was wonderful! I had the Greek Salad and added chicken, it was delicious. I had a small and I'm so glad I ordered a small which is a perfect size for lunch. My daughter in law had the Gyro and she loved it! She actually said it was the best one she's had in a while and was the perfect lunch portion. I highly recommend this spot, complete visit was wonderful and we will definitely be back. ”

“ Palladio shopping center is capital B, Busy, during December, the holidays. I confess, I was there shopping for some last minute holiday gifts. After my shopping, I was feeling a bit peckish and wanted to grab takeout to bring home. I landed on Petra Greek. It is counter service with a varied Mediterranean menu options from appetizer, gyros, plates, and dessert options AND burgers and fries AND beers (draft and bottled). I was not sure what was beeftekia, I asked the cashier and she nicely explained. It is baked minced ground beef patty with Mediterranean seasonings. I was intrigued, so I ordered the beeftekia plate. It came with two patties, rice pilaf, Greek salad, tzakziki, and pita. The beeftekia patty had a light airy texture and packed with lots of bold Mediterranean flavors/seasinings. The salad was fresh tasting. The tzakziki was a thick consistency with bright flavors and served cold, it was delicious. I am lactose intolerant and can digest lactose if I take a lactase enzyme (pill). There are not alot of dairy food items that I choose to take a pill to enjoy. But their tzakziki is one of them. The dining room is clean, modern, and comfortable with a couple of TV screens tuned to sports channels. They also have an outdoor patio but it is not heated. ”
